Michael W alerted us to a couple of upcoming JP Branch workshops on the Gold Coast in October.

Quoting from the email from the JP Branch community engagement officers:

We are currently planning to conduct 2 professional development events to be held in Gold Coast Region in October and would like your feedback to assist in the content of one of the sessions.
One workshop will be facilitated on General Witnessing Procedures and will include:
What can I witness
Statutory Declarations
Land Title Documents
The second workshop will be a topic specific workshop which we are looking to base the subject on feedback from yourselves and that would be most beneficial for your volunteer team members. We will plan this session from the feedback received from all teams, for example if the consensus from teams is a workshop on Enduring Documents or Land Registry Forms, then we will aim to organise the workshop dependent on the availability of the guest presenter.
For your information, these workshops will be promoted on our professional development calendar and open to all JPs/C.decs to attend.
If you could provide feedback from your team by COB August 14 in regards to the workshop topic matter, that will enable us time to organise a speaker and venue, with the aim of the session being held in October.

Send suggestions to Michael W for the second workshop.
